Started early evening. Squiz already there rigging 6.6m, so I rigged 6m and in the choppy sea that was easily enough. A bit blustery to start off with, overpowered in gusts but after a while wind settled down nicely. Sea still rough but an enjoyable hour and a half before the wind dropped, luckily I was ashore and squiz only had a couple of hundred yard drift in. I enjoyed the sail, particularly as I was not expecting much.
